a deadly love

written by:Selena molly bleeker

two teen lovers were found dead side by side in the Capulet garden, in Verona under a green apple tree. for their inconvenience their families held a very old and powerful grudge for each other. they fell in love at first sight at a Capulet party. therefore they decided to get married. before he could even tell about his love adventure with Juliet, Tybalt a member of the Capulet household decided to get back at him for having had crashed his party. instead of killing romeo he killed mercutio, Romeo's best friend and the prince's relative. romeo decided furiously to get back at Tybalt, he killed him. soon enough the prince found out and banned romeo from Verona, if he had ever returned he would be killed. because of a couple of misunderstandings the two young lovers killed themselves causing an uproar of sadness and resentment.

romeo of Montague, 16 years of age, heir to the montegue throne was a young and bright lovestruck teenager. he was sensitive and handsome though he had his moments were he was immature and impulsive.both Mercutio and Benvolio, two of Romeo’s closest friends, believe that Romeo is very romantic . Mercutio finds it tiresome and tries to convince Romeo that love should be pure sexual pleasure. Benvolio on the other hand is just there to help Romeo with his broken heart

the young lady found stabbed with a dagger in the heart, Juliet of the Capulet household is thirteen years young she is a beautiful teenager that is determined to reunite with her love, Romeo. She has no friends of her own age and her only confident is her nurse which is like a mother to her. the nurse thought she was a naive and lovesick girl. Benvolio, Romeo's friend stated that romeo always talked about how beautiful she was.

"oh my young and beautiful daughter, that unforgivable bastard romeo why did he have to ruin her life. this is all my fault for not having had been more close to her. i should have spoken to her more. i should have pressured her to marry Paris. that would have been a successful plan, she would still be alive and happy, and rich. my lovely child what a tragedywhy did she have to go and mingle with that horrid romeo," stated lady Capulet.

"i blame the Capulets for the death of our children! they should have had their daughter away. my boy, my Innocent child. he had his heart broken recently and now this! i knew those Capulets were no good! never trust a Capulet!", said Lord Montague

After reading Of Mice and Men and the two news articles, what is your stance on euthanasia? Is "mercy" killing a legitimate way to ending someones life? List any exceptions, if you have any. (This response should be 7-10 sentences and include 5 w2o -make sure the words are indicated by bold font, italics, or different colors). After posting this blog, comment another classmate's blog. In your comment, you will explain why you agree or disagree with their views on euthanasia. (Your comment will be graded as well - it should be 3-5 THOUGHTFUL, academic sentences that include specific details. Any inappropriate comments will be deleted immediately and the culprit will be given a zero on their assignment)***Leave an extra comment for extra credit***
euthanasia is in many cases a good decision. because like with the girl that was in a vegatative state, she looked miserable to her father, and wasn't "living" a good life.it was best for her, she had no life.as for the man that killed his family, i wouldn't call euthanasia what he did he murdered them, there were many things he could have done like try to get a new job go to social services move to an apartment they could afford or maybe even moved into a relative's house/

1a. Explain George's perspective for what he did to Lennie.

i believe that Greoge was trying to free Lennie from the big problem he got into. i think that it was better that George killed him instead of curley; because curley would have done it with anger. he would have hurt him...and George didn't want curley to hurt him in anyway. i also think it was better that George killed him instead of curley because George and Lennie were really good friends.

1b. Do you think that was the best thing to do for Lennie?

i don't think so because George could have helped Lennie runaway or hide.even though it wasn't the best thing he could have done it was still pretty close because they would have probably found Lennie with dogs or they could have catched up to them with the horses. and it was best for George too because if he would have tried to runaway it would be the same everywhere they went, i think George had already done to many things for Lennie anyways. but in the movie it looked very cold hearted he didn't even let him finish talking.

2. Father in Italy Accused of Murder
a. Using a "quote" to support your response, explain the father's reasons for what he did.
"his daughter had expressed a preference for dying over being kept alive artificially."
He allowed them to remove the feeding tubes because she had already been alive artificially for 17 years. he also did that because his daughter preferred dying over living artificially. when someone in your family is in a vegetative state you would prefer to let them finally rest in peace instead of watching them unable to move or speak or do anything at all. it is a hard decision but the father had a very good reason for doing so.
b. Using a "quote" to support your response, explain if that was the best thing to do for the daughter.
"eluana englaro, who had been in a vegetative state for 17 years, died Feb. 9 in a clinic in the city of Udine after doctors removed her feeding tubes. She was 38."

c. Do you agree or disagree with what the father did? Why?
i do agree because her father was in pain all those years watching his daughter motionless, and mostly dead. also his daughter would have wanted to dye rather than live artificially.he ended her suffering and finally let her rest in peace.

3. Man Kills Family after Losing his Joba. Imagine and list things that might have been going through the father's mind as he contemplated his "mercy" killing. (In the article, the father's suicide note gives specific evidence of why he did what he did. Elaborate on it.) Specifically, what could he have been negative or paranoid about?
"what am i gonna do?"
"there is no other way!"
"my administrator was right!"
"this is for the best."
"I'm sorry baby."
"forgive me lord, but i have to do this."
he was most likely paranoid about not being able to provide money for food for his wife and children.
he could have been thinking about what the administrator had told him.
he was paranoid about bills, and not being able to provide a good home. he was thinking negatively about not having a job and he was probably thinking he wouldn't be a good father and that his children wouldn't like him anymore for not giving them what they wanted.

b. Unfortunately, with America's failing economy, many professionals are losing their jobs. While many do not resort to something as extreme as the man in the article, it does cause stress within families. What are some ways that parents can support children (to succeed in life) that do NOT require money?
parents can support children by loving them and supporting them emotionally; teaching them right from wrong; teaching them manners; teaching them about faith and religion.

The Lord of the Lies!!!!

1b.This here to my left is the gorgeous shia labeouf<333.>

2b.This is the hottie James Franco to my left. I believe he would make the perfect JACK there could ever be. First of all this picture makes him look like he's maniacal, evil, and dark. Also when he plays as the second goblin in spiderman 3 he is portrayed as a person that would like more attention; JACK wanted to be the leader but nobody wanted him to be leader; james wanted attention from his father but his father only cared about killing spiderman. Therefore James Franco is the perfect JACK.

This is angelina jolie; she could play a great ROGER. she is a great candidate because she is dark. She used to own a used electrical chair that she had in her living room.

I have many beasties in my story because in the book the beast changes. one of my beasts is the bat its ugly and scary and sucks your blood; so its a good beast. another beast is the rat. its fast and ugly and bites hard; possibly has rabies. my last bestie is the madagascar hissing cockroach.
